Return and Refund Policy for ProSitePlans.com

At ProSitePlans.com (“we,” “our,” “us”), we are committed to delivering high-quality, non-certified site plans tailored to your specific requirements. We understand that certain circumstances may arise where a refund or revision is needed. This policy outlines the conditions under which we offer refunds, the revision process, and your responsibilities as a client.

1. General Policy Overview

  • Non-Certified Plans: Our site plans are not certified, stamped, or signed by a licensed surveyor, engineer, or architect. They are intended for informational and planning purposes only.
  • Permit Approval Not Guaranteed: While our site plans meet standard requirements, we do not guarantee that all permit applications will be accepted by local authorities.
  • Refunds Are Limited to Certain Conditions: Refunds are only granted in cases where the site plan has been denied twice by the permitting authority for reasons other than requiring certification.

2. Eligibility for Refunds

You may qualify for a refund under the following circumstances:

2.1 Permit Denial & Revision Opportunity

  • If your initial site plan is denied due to technical errors, missing details, or incorrect formatting, you must provide feedback from the permitting authority.
  • We will revise the plan at no additional cost to address the denial reasons.
  • If the revised plan is denied again, and the issue is not related to certification, you may request a refund.

2.2 Required Documentation for Refunds

To be eligible for a refund after a second denial, you must provide:

  • Official written documentation from the permitting authority stating the reasons for rejection.
  • Proof of purchase (order number or receipt).
  • A refund request within 60 days of the original purchase date.

3. Revision Policy

We strive for accuracy and customer satisfaction. If your plan requires modifications, we offer the following:

3.1 Free Revisions

  • One Free Revision – If the plan needs adjustments based on permit authority feedback, we will modify the plan at no additional charge.
  • Additional Revisions – If further modifications are needed beyond the first free revision, additional fees may apply.

3.2 What Revisions Cover

  • Adjustments to dimensions, labels, or placement of structures.
  • Minor formatting changes to comply with permit requirements.
  • Addition or removal of specific property features upon request.

3.3 What Revisions Do NOT Cover

  • Major redesigns or complete plan reworks based on new requirements after the initial order.
  • Requests for a certified or stamped plan (since our plans are non-certified).

4. Non-Refundable Services

Certain purchases and services do not qualify for refunds under any circumstances:

  • Certified Plan Requirements – If your municipality requires a certified, stamped plan, and you purchase our non-certified plan despite this requirement, we do not offer refunds.
  • Custom Hourly Work – All sales for custom projects or design modifications beyond our standard site plans are final and non-refundable.
  • Customer Errors – Refunds are not issued for:
    • Incorrect property details provided by the client.
    • Ordering a site plan for an incorrect address.
    • Change of mind after delivery.

5. Refund Process

If your refund request meets the eligibility criteria, follow these steps:

5.1 How to Request a Refund

  1. Contact Us – Email [email protected] with the subject “Refund Request – Order #[Your Order Number]”.
  2. Provide Documentation – Attach:
    • A copy of the permit authority’s denial notice (both first and second denial).
    • Proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation).
  3. Processing Time – Once we receive the required documents, we will review your request.
    • Refunds are processed within 7-10 business days if approved.
    • Refunds are issued using the original payment method.

5.2 Partial Refunds

In certain cases, a partial refund may be issued if:

  • A portion of the work has been completed but not fully delivered.
  • The site plan was partially approved but required a different approach.

6. Client Responsibilities

To ensure the best outcome, clients must:

  • Verify Permit Requirements Before Ordering – Check with your local permitting office to confirm whether a non-certified plan is acceptable.
  • Provide Accurate Property Information – Ensure correct details regarding dimensions, structures, and boundaries are provided at the time of order.
  • Review the Initial Plan Carefully – Before submitting the plan for permitting, verify details and request minor adjustments if needed.

7. Limitations & Liability

  • Non-Certified Nature: Our site plans are not intended to replace official surveys or certified documents.
  • No Guarantee of Acceptance: We cannot guarantee that every jurisdiction will approve our plans.
  • Limit of Liability: Our maximum liability is limited to the amount paid by the client for the purchased service.

8. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time without prior notice. Updates will be posted with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
